A bird in the Wildlife Refuge The Wildlife Refuge
The Dieppe Cliffs are an important nesting site in the Montérégie region for the peregrine falcon. This species is designated as vulnerable in Quebec, and its situation throughout Canada is a cause for concern. The wildlife refuge aims to restore and maintain the nesting habitat of this impressive raptor. Since 2004, several community initiatives have been put in place to achieve these objectives and ensure this endangered species continues to thrive in the Mont Saint-Hilaire Biosphere Reserve.
