biography
Alain Paiement lives and works in Montréal, where he teaches at the school of visual and media arts of the Université du Québec à Montréal. He explores and breathes new life into the processes by which space and time are represented, using an approach positioned at the juncture of the pictorial, photographic, architectural and map-making traditions. His works have been widely shown in Canada and Europe.
