X The Cistercian Orders
In 1892, Pope Leo 13th regrouped the Cistercian Congregations into two separate Cistercian Orders: the Holy Order of Citeaux and the Cistercians of the Strict Observance, also known as Trappists. In 1895, Notre Dame des Prairies is established in Manitoba.
