III The Hidden Life of Jesus
Joseph, Mary and Jesus return when the rule of Herod is finished and make a new home in Nazareth. As a youth Jesus spends time in the temple discussing the scriptures with the priests. His parents even lose him once during a Passover Feast, as he remains in the temple deep in discussions. He remains with his parents until he is old enough to be on his own. He then spends the 18 years before
his 30th birthday traveling and learning from teachings abroad.
Notes:
1. "And the child grew and became strong, filled with
wisdom; and the favour of God was upon him...And his
mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus
increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with
God and man." Luke, 2: 40-52
