VI The Miracles
Jesus’ miracles are many and he used them to teach the people simple lessons. At first he tries to keep them modest and few, however the people he heals are so overjoyed that news about his wonders were quick to spread. He healed sick from afar and at their bedsides, drove out demons, turned water to wine and fed 5,000 people with a few loaves of bread and fish. When he walked on the sea in a storm to reach his disciples’ ship he taught a lesson of faith to Peter and calmed the waters. Lazarus, a friend of Jesus, became deathly ill and died. He created belief through his resurrection.
