VIII The Last Supper
The twelve followers gather together with Jesus in secret as the pressure against them begins to surmount. Jesus breaks bread with them and shares wine, asking them that whenever they do these things to remember him, what he has done and what he is about to do for them. He also fortells of a betrayer and a man who will deny him three times, amongst them all.
Notes:
1. "Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes, has eternal life... I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh. Truly, truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." -John 6:51
