Randall House Museum - Wolfville Historical Society
Wolfville (Nouvelle-Écosse) Région touristique : Annapolis Valley
The Wolfville Historical Society owns and maintains this historic Horton farmhouse (ca. 1800) as a window on the town's past. Randall House, which was owned by the Randall family for three generations, provides a glimpse of how our early buildings were constructed, and shows details of our ancestors' domestic and business lives, as well as the contributions that some of our important families made to the Town. Items in our collection include furniture made in Horton Township, costumes and textiles, paintings, china, glass and even a collection of Victorian greeting cards. A small library and research office for local history and genealogy is located on the second floor, where copies of the extensive photograph collection are also kept. Historic garden ca. 1840.
